Hello! Thanks for stopping by. My name is Danielle (Dani) Loose and this is my very own piece of the world wide web. DaniOnTheLoose.com was born out of a desire to share my everyday experiences and tips for being a green girl on the go. Catchy, right?
So, what’s my story? I’m a 28-year-old self-proclaimed health nut and native Texan living in sunny Los Angeles, CA. And why am I still not scarfing down hamburgers and Dr. Pepper might you ask? Well, for over eight years I’ve witnessed my Mom fight stage 4 ovarian cancer 100% holistically. Being exposed to this alternative method of fighting disease has taught me how to thrive living a fully whole food plant-based and non-toxic lifestyle. It also encouraged me to dig inward and work to discover the root cause of my own chronic symptoms- a persistent blend of migraines, acne, allergies, and sinus infections that have lingered around since childhood.
This personal journey led me to attend the Institute of Integrative Nutrition to receive my certification as a holistic health coach. Nowadays, I’m passionate AF about helping busy, working women discover the powerful effects of a healthier, more balanced life starting with a plant-based diet. If you’re someone who has experienced a loved one suffer from cancer, I understand the NEED to change your life in absolute fear of getting diagnosed with the disease yourself.
On the flip side, I know the struggles to put yourself and your health first. Like, really. Seriously. I. GET. IT. Especially since I’m like you. I’ve had a full-time career in media sales for close to a decade now. Wining and dining clients, late nights working overtime to finish a presentation or close a deal, and no time between conference calls to just effing breath are some of the daily pressures I’m totally aware of.
Because when you’re stressed AF about hitting a quarterly quota or traveling a ton for meetings, that stress can manifest itself in various ways. Plus, you have all your other personal stuff going on in addition to your professional stuff. It can be A LOT trying to navigate your career, plan for your future (oh hello husband, house, and potential kiddos), and maintain a normal social life. Although, organic wine helps. 😉
My goal is to use this site as a resource for easy, plant-based and non-toxic lifestyle tips and spark conversations around holistic health topics that relate to the modern, millennial female. With all that being said, you’ll usually find me “on the loose” at a nearby Whole Foods or the local Erewhon LA juice bar. Feel free to browse more deetz on my story here. But don’t worry, this blog will be balanced with some splurges too- because, quite simply, life is all about the 80/20 rule. I can’t wait to connect with you all. Now, someone get me a glass of organic bubbly please! (insert champagne Emoji here)…
